8:00am - Theory and guidelines
We meet at Playa Herradura, where we will explain the basic techniques of the surf foil, the safety measures and the care that must be taken. Next, we start engines and go straight to our "secret spot" which is always glass and without people.
02.
9:00am - Balance and Snatch Practice
We start the class by working on stability on the foil board to be able to take off with the rope behind the boat. Some people take more time than others, so if this is your case, we will first work on a series of static exercises on the table until you have mastered the necessary stability to start foiling.
03.
10:00am - Positioning and lifting
Once you are stable in the foil and have mastered the launch, we will do several rounds so that you discover where to stand and how to maneuver it.
We will be on the boat giving you the instructions and celebrating each of your achievements. We will also be recording videos of your progress to later do video analysis.
You will be towed over and over again until your arms and body ask for a break (even if you want one more!) where we will prepare a snack with fruits, seeds and lots of water.
During the break we will review the videos of your session to see what you did well and what you need to improve.
03.
9:00am - Posicionamiento y elevación
Después de tu merecido descanso y ya con energías cargadas, comenzamos nuevamente a remolcarte en el hydrofoil buscando aplicar las lecciones aprendidas durante el analisis que hicimos en conjunto con el video.
La clase finaliza a las 12 medio día en donde arribaremos nuevamente a Playa Mantas.
